I was really hesitant at first and felt like the bed was really soft. A few days later after the mattress settled it was a dream :)

I am a back and side sleeper. With my previous innerspring pillowtop mattress (which was only 5 months old) I felt as though I was sleeping in a "hole". Also I suffered from having my hands and arms "going to sleep" constantly. I'd wake up multiple times in the night with them tingling and numb and I'd have to move them and shake them to get the feeling back into them...very annoying. So far with the GhostBed mattress, none of these things are a problem. Of course, it is firmer than a pillowtop...but obviously that is what I needed. I'm very happy with how I am sleeping.

I love my new mattress!! I was moving to a new apartment and needed a new bigger mattress. Very happy with my Ghostbed.
The first few weeks here I had it on the floor before buying a bed frame. The difference in comfort is noticeable between the floor and elevated off the ground on slats. This type of bed is definitely not intended to be on a solid platform. Elevated off the ground on slats is much much more comfortable, so consider that before purchasing.

If you like firm mattresses, then this one is definitely for you! My husband has back problems which have been an issue for years. After sleeping on this mattress for a month he has seen a vast improvement. I normally take about 30 minutes to fall asleep, on this mattress I fall asleep within 10 minutes of laying down. I dream so much more when I sleep now, this was never the case on my old mattress. My old pillow top was really comfortable, soft, and I liked it, but I kept sinking down and having to roll out of a hole. No issues with sinking down on this mattress. I would absolutely recommend that you give this mattress a try. It came wrapped air tight and with a free large t-shirt.

I had to buy a gel foam topper to put on top of my ghost bed because it was just to firm for my large sized body, but after putting that on I am getting a good nights rest and feel totally supported.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased this mattress in a panic, as the in-laws were going to be staying with us, and we had no mattress for the spare bedroom. It came in just a couple days. Easy to set up. We purchased the box spring as well. Easy to put together. Mother in-law is a tiny woman and father in-law is a large man. Both said they slept comfortably during there entire visit. Yay!

Good Quality Bed, a Bit Firm

So far the bed is as expected from the positive reviews I read. For the price I am very satisfied and the warranty should make sure I stay happy for years to come. The mattress was a little too firm for me so I added a very thin memory foam mattress topper. I suspect that after a while it will soften up a bit, my last mattress did this. The mattress did smell a little but it was less than I expected and went away quickly. I suggest you allow the bed a full 24 hours or more to completely expand and air out, you will be much happier if you do. I would recommend this mattress.
