Firm but comfortable

I didn't care for this bed until I bought the ghost bed pillow as well and now I sleep like a baby. I do heavy construction work so my back is in bad shape, ever since I got the bed I find my Self better rested and have more energy through out the day. My girlfriend absolutely loves the bed. I still believe it could be less firm but it feels amazing on pressure points and brings you to a deep sleep quick. Would highly recommend to people with bad necks, backs, hips, what ever it may be. And the finance plans are ridiculously affordable. Awesome company.

Glad I Bought It, Plan on Upgrading Your Pillows

I spent several weeks researching beds and had ultimately decided on a traditional pillow top. I was preparing to spend a weekend going around to different local stores to see what was available. A friend mentioned Ghostbed which I had previously not heard of. I had heard of the whole "bed in a box" concept but hadn't really looked into it. Ghostbed seemed to get the best reviews in most youtube comparisons and with the sleep trial period I figured I had nothing to lose. I've now had it for about three weeks. I put it on a metal platform bed. I also purchased the protector. The bed deployed itself fairly quickly. It seemed to reach its advertised height within a half an hour. One thing I noticed right away was that my existing pillows didn't feel right for the mattress. Probably just because they didn't sink into the new bed like they did on the old one. I picked up two new ones and later decided to order a Ghostpillow. You really need two weeks to get used to the bed. I'll say that I immediately noticed that I generally felt better in the morning than I had previously. Yes, the bed does feel initially firm but you do sink in all the right pressure points. I had recently started sleeping with a pillow between my knees because of some hip pain but that's gone away. I don't need the pillow anymore.
My girlfriend likes the bed and since it doesn't transfer a lot of motion, I sleep better. Same thing goes for my beagle when he moves around the bed. It's a lot less obvious and for a light sleeper like me, that's great. Give it a try. You've got nothing to lose.

Experiencing lots of back pain

Since switching to this mattress I have been experiencing much more back pain. It's been one month. First couple weeks were great, last two weeks I'm incredibly sore and uncomfortable when I wake up. Will give it another couple weeks but at this point, not likely to keep the mattress. It seems very comfortable when sitting and laying down but my neck and back are killing me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The mattress arrived when they said it would, it was a piece of cake to setup and it is really really comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone.

First time purchase of a mattress from a website.

Having had a latex foam mattress before, I knew we did not want a traditional innerspring mattress and having tried the memory foam mattresses, we did not want memory foam as the top layer. So began my search for a new mattress.
As I began to research different manufactures and sellers of mattresses i came across the Ghostbed. I liked the construction of the mattress, the fact that the foam was Certi-pure certified and that it was made by a company that had roots in the mattress business all caught my attention.
I had not considered an internet purchase when I began my research but the Ghostbed 'checked all the boxes' for what I was seeking.
Having slept on the mattress for two weeks now we have not been disappointed. It is everything we expected and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality foam mattress.
The purchase process was easy and the delivery fast. And then, it it fascinating to unpack it and watch it take shape before your eyes!!
