The mattress and pillows are hard as a rock and not at all comfortable. Sleep is difficult. I've only had it for a month but it's not what I expected.

Very solid bed

The firmness of the foam takes some getting used to, although it doesn’t feel hard - simply different than a standard mattress. Have it on the ghostbed foundation. Would recommend.

Much more firm than I expected

I had high hopes for this mattress but it just not right for me and my husband. It’s more firm than I would have expected. The first couple of night I found it very difficult to change positions while sleeping. I hoped that with time the mattress would break in and be easier to move around. It has become a bit easier, but now I feel like I roll to the edge involuntarily at night. Once we reach the 30 day mark we wlll be requesting a return.

Lower back pain eliminated

I purchased the GhostBed because my lower back pain was becoming unbearable each morning as I rolled out of bed. Two months later, my back pain has vanished. This bed is amazing. For those who are concerned about the bed being too soft for back pain sufferers, forget about it. The bed really is the perfect balance between firmness (providing support) and cloud-like comfort. I look forward to a good night’s sleep and painless dismount each day. After previously owning a Tempur-Pedic bed (which FYI is not the same bed that was causing back pain), I can safely say that the GhostBed is a great value. Awesome.

The best thing I can say about this mattress is that it makes it very difficult to get out of bed in the morning.

I don't know why you wouldn't get one of these to protect your bed. I spilled some liquid on my bed by accident, and it came off of the protector easily. Nothing got through to my mattress. A must have!
