Time to change brands

I bought this unit about 6 years ago. Like many of the other reviews I have been a Maytag appliances owner for many years to include the refrigerator, microwave, washer, dryer and stove. My stove burners have been going dead one behind the other on my electric range. I'm now down to only 1 burner as of yesterday. The repairman said that the burner units are not replaceable. My power-on light for hot burner warning has stayed on for years, and many of the problems in the reviews I have endured, Time for me to change brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a pain.

The cook top is fine, it’s a great looking unit. The oven is unreliable. My wife hates it. The preheat function is intolerable. When the oven is set to the desired temperature and it is believed to be baking, it isn’t. This has to be the dumbest and best looking range I’ve ever owned.
Pending what action Maytag takes, I may alter my review. I’m a proud owner of Maytag appliances and serve Whirlpool in Clyde Ohio through Norfolk Southern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Maytag product. It feels great to have a reliable stove back in my kitchen. I would recommend Maytag every time. I just wish that they included a 'user' manual. What I got was an installation manual. That doesn't always help me out.

Learning to use both cook top and oven. Not quite used to it yet. Would be so grateful if Maytag were to provide a detailed User's Manual! This would help, in that the time to heat water and baking time seem to be slower than expected.
