A very nice, but flawed, oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice oven, and I’m excited to try the Air Fry and Steam Clean functions.
However, it just had a malfunction on its first run on Convection Roast - the oven door locked unexpectedly and I couldn’t get the food in the oven out.
Of course it happened on a Friday afternoon, so there was no chance at getting a service rep before Monday.
I tried Maytag’s troubleshooting methods, but they were ineffective.
Finally, after the oven cooled off (2.5 hours later), I put the oven into self-clean mode (the door locked) and then cancelled it. That unlocked the door.
I’m hoping this was just a one-off, but it’s been recorded with their customer service department in case it happens again. If it does, it’s going back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had the oven for a week, but I have baked over 40 dozen Christmas cookies already and it has worked great. I tried the air fryer once, but haven’t tried the convection feature yet. I am very satisfied with this oven so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the new oven but have not used all the features yet. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because Maytag did not include a user manual for the person cooking. I got all kinds of technical material which was handy for an installer, but I would have liked a basic user's manual. If possible if Maytag could mail me an actual user manual for me to use, I would much appreciate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased this oven to replace an older appliance. The installation was very simple, and the oven works perfectly. Overall, the preheat is very quick. The air fry feature is also something that takes little, to no time to preheat. Highly recommend.
