Great Coffee Maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink coffee daily and just got the PureFlavor coffee maker. I like the large capacity - it makes 14 cups vs my previous machine only made 12 so that is great for when we make iced coffee in bulk and chill in the fridge. It is easy to set up and program with the guide provided. My husband and I both thought the coffee tasted good and I like the reusable filter feature. Really liked the over ice brew option that this has as I love iced coffee in the summer. Super easy to follow the directions and I thought it tasted great and not watered down. The only thing I didn't love about it was that there was much more white than stainless on it, for some reason when I saw the front on the box I thought there would be a bit more stainless in the design. Works well in my white kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't see how this coffee maker has a "refined brewing process." It brews just like every other standard coffee maker out there. No pre-soak allowing the coffee to “bloom.” No stops during brewing to improve the soak time of the coffee and avoid over-watering. No special settings for anything other than brew strength. I don’t get it. What’s so special about this coffee makers above all others? From what I can tell, they just throw out a bunch of marketing words to con you into buying a coffee maker that does what others can do at less than half the price. Oh, it brews 14 cups instead of 12 cups if that’s your thing. I’m not impressed with this coffee maker at all. It brews a basic cup of coffee, that’s it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features great design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iam impressed with this Braun 14 cup coffee maker. It has all the features you need even a clock. the filtering system is made very well and works very well. I find it keeps my coffee hotter much longer then my old maker. Fast, regular, bold, or over ice take your choice because this coffee maker can do it for you.
Brew Over Ice, an optimized brewing process designed to be brewed over ice and maintain its bold, flavorful taste now thats one very nice coffee maker. The design is just great looks very nice just sitting there. it brews the perfect coffee every time. All the settings are right on the front on the top for very easy access very sleek.It has the water fill so you wont overfill it, The top is large it opens for easy clear access to put your coffee and water in. I am one to get doing things while brewing my coffee and the BRAUN actually beeps when its ready so a great feature also. 3 heat settings for your choice to keep it hot. easily cleans up looks very nice in of all ts design It brews such flavorful coffeee . I find no cons with it just great coffee. I would recommend this coffee maker for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got me a Brain PureFlavor Coffee Maker and I really love it !! It has a fast mode , regular , bold and a Ice coffee button . Very simple to set up . Love the fact it has a built in filter and a charcoal filter for the water. The beat button is the CLEAN button. It will let me know when my coffee pot needs cleaned !! I'm so excited to own this product.

I recently received a white and stainless steel Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker KF5650WH. This 14 cup coffee maker takes standard drip medium grind coffee and has a touch screen display and a programmable warming plate that keeps coffee warm for up to 4 hours; default is 2 hours. It also has a convenient front facing water level window instead of on the side and comes with a carbon water filter that should be replaced every 2 months. This coffee maker has an about 30" long 2 prong power cord. It comes with a reusable cone filter # 4 and 1 tablespoon plastic coffee scoop (1 scoop per cup you want to brew). It also has four brewing options—fast, regular, bold or over ice.
The coffee maker is highly programmable - you can schedule it to brew your coffee, you can select your water type - soft h1, medium h2, or hard water h3 (default is set to h3 or hard water), you can change the temperature of the warming plate to low, medium, or high, you can turn the beep off after the coffee brews, and it will tell you when it's time to de-scale your coffee maker.
Another thing to note is the clock goes to dim mode after 10 seconds if you haven't touched anything. This coffee maker pauses during brewing to allow coffee to bloom; this makes good strong coffee. Some of the things I didn't like about this coffee maker are the popping noises it makes, lots of steam coming out the back part of the top of the lid, and it's tall - 22" tall with the top lid open - won't fit under the kitchen cabinet.
Overall, this is a good coffee maker with lots of features and I am happy to have received it.

Great looking, somewhat well performing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the PureFlavor Coffee Maker (KF5650WH) for a little bit of time now, and while it's definitely looks nice, and brews coffee somewhat well, it has some gripes that prevent it from being my #1 go-to coffee maker. Firstly, I want to talk about the actual build of the product. The brushed metal stainless steel exterior feels extremely sturdy and professional, along with the awesome to use touch-like display. Kind of makes me feel like it's the next generation of coffee makers! The different modes are super sweet too. I'm a really big fan of the "over ice" setting, as I feel it is a unique feature for a hot-drip coffee machine to have. Which makes your homebrewed iced coffee taste much better than any other machine on the market in my eyes.
However, I do have some problems with this coffee maker. Trying to set and automate a brew timer feels like a hassle, and when it's finally set up, I find that sometimes it's a hit or a miss. For the couple of days that I've been using it, it doesn't seem to like automatic brewing. Another thing that I also have a problem with is the hot plate under the actual cup of coffee. I found that even though it says it keeps the coffee hot, the machine's temperature was definitely below average. I don't know if there's some sort of programming that I might have to do on the unit itself, but that feature should just work in my eyes. Another distaste I had was the carafe itself, because the glass felt sturdy and very high quality, but the plastic flip lid fell a little bit on the cheaper end.
I feel that this coffee machine focused more on aesthetics than the actual product of brewing itself, and while the brew isn't terrible, some features prevent it from being the best it can be. To me, it feels like it's not that different from other drip-coffee makers, and can definitely be a better product with some elbow grease. However, if you're looking for something that'll do the job, this definitely fulfills the requirements.
