I have no experience with the Blendjet2 WITHOUT the new lid. The Blendjet arrived and was immediately impressive right out of the box. The Orbiter drink lid just makes a good thing better. I can't imagine using my Blendjet2 without it.

Love it do much had to order another one when I found out could get a 20oz container for my blender for free. Just saw another color that I should of gotten instead of the one I got. Didn't have enough room in it to but ice on it. So will try it to make my frozen shakes in it.
