Bought to replace 2014 Lenovo work station. Transfer went well using special software. It is quicker and works with Win 11 which the previous unit did not. The HP Z2 P9 has only been installed for 10 days, so its early to give a comprehensive review.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Two faults within a couple of weeks!

I bought this item a couple of weeks ago. I used it for about 3 hrs- one of which was spent talking to their Tech Support, as as kept getting a 90e message re power fan failure. V patient guy, went thru updating bios etc etc. Their subcontractor came and fitted a new power supply. Used it a few times, loading normal software. When pressed the ON button, it didn't always react, so had to press a few times. Now it doesn't come on at all! In all my years of using PC's this is the worst machine I've ever had. I've used HPs before with no problem, but this one is a lemon. I just want it to be fit for purpose!
Probably a great machine. I don't know, I can't use it.

I brought this to run some high powered CAD software.
I loaded the software. It wouldn't loaded. I had someone from the software company look at it remotely. They suggested that the OS was corrupt and that I should get that machine restored to factory settings.
I worked how to do this. The machine now won't do anything.
I have spent hours going round in circles trying to get someone in support to talk to me and waiting on the phone to try and see where I can take the machine to to get it working..... nothing.
I just need someone to talk to to find out.
