Brilliant Device!

The product itself is great the functionality and light weight, durable size and being Solar is brilliant. The bit that does it for me is the functionality between the device and your phone, you basically get pin point GPS, you can transfer a route to your GPS device from your phone through Bluetooth and follow the route on your device and check the plan on the phone and the tracking, combined it gives you the functionality of a top end unit. Really satisfied with this unit, highly recommend it!

This is easy to use and finds your location very quickly. My previous GPS was a Garmin i purchased 20 years ago and I used it a lot and I liked it. I upgraded due to the solar charging on this one. I am glad I did. It charges well and keeps track of how many days of battery you currently have. Mine started at 5 days and ended at 6 by the end of the day so it clearly charged more. It was a sunny day. It has all the basic functions of any other GPS and seems to find the satellites very quickly. About 5 minutes when I first turned it on at home and then less than a minute after that (about 200 miles away). Faster than my old one.
I suggest getting a backpack tether for it. It will allow you to keep it on your backpack shoulder strap while you hike which allows it to charge better.
