I have had this unit mounted in the dash of my Ranger and like its performance so far. Updates are a little challenging but overall it’s a good unit.

Purchased one for my skiff which never had a chartplotter installed on it. Touch screen is works great and the plotter loads everything very fast I am very happy with it. The only thing I regret is not getting the 9” instead. Picture is way too small and you have to squint to really see everything

I really like the chart plotter it has great detail but what I don’t like is that it was so hard to connect with active captain and get the maps downloaded.

I bought the unit this spring and am extremely happy with it. While it is not totally intuitive it is a lot easier to navigate around and set up than my Helix 5 from Hummingbird.

I would rate a 5 but the interaction between the plotter and app is complicated and a bit confusing. I love the display and touch screen. The plotter is pretty intuitive and fairly easy to navigate. I purchased a mercury engine monitor and it works great. Garmin makes great equipment.
