The third shelf if functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the dishwasher hooked up for about 3,weeks . all in all I love it. It is extremely quiet and washes dishes extremely well. If I had one compliant it’s that it takes over 2 hours to run a complete cycle. Even the quick cycle takes over an hour.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Whirlpool 3rd rack dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the machine approx 1 month ago and it by far exceeds the LG brand machine we had previously. The third rack allows more flexibility in placing odd shaped kitchen tools and mugs.Our previous machine had problems cleaning anything on the third rack, but the Whirlpool does an excellent job. The wife tested the machine by not prerinsing any plates or pans and putting them thru t quick wash option. Everything came out spotless. We like the ease of operation. There is not a bunch of unnecessary settings to scroll thru and the washing and drying options are simple to cycle thru and select.Very quiet operation. Just a warning though , if you do run the machine thru a drying cycle do not place any plastic utensils or equipment in the bottom rack as the heater element gives off sufficient heat to warp some types of plastic. We found that with the stainless tub we don’t really need to run a drying cycle with the heater element to dry the dishes properly. We just had to wait 15 to 20 minutes after the wash was finished to put away the dishes.
