At last...Baby Groot MF!

5th build of 2024. Certainly a roller coaster ride from first hearing about the release of this set, shocking reaction when I first saw the product photo, got calmer after seeing some actual builds, then finally got the chance to built it myself. Overall it didn't turn out as creepy as I thought it would be, the elbow and knee mechanism seems to follow the small mech armor set – which couldn't be bent. The tail build is straightforward and well executed. Highlight of the set is definitely Baby Groot minifgure!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Trouble standing

Love my Groot. So bought this for my teenage daughter. Very hard to get to stand, especially without breaking last of him. Jaw, does not stay attached very well either
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You should hear a 'click' noise when connecting Rocket's lower jaw. If you find that it's not staying connected as expected, sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. Feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help!

A worthy addition to the buildable line

I wasn't impressed when I first saw the production pictures. It took buying the set and going through the build experience to truly appreciate it. Is there room for improvement? Yes. Is the price a little high? Yes. I enjoyed the build, minimal use of stickers, adequate articulation, and the pleasing aesthetic upon completion. I do wish the knees were not fixed. I also wish the tail had more possibility. Overall a great build.

Awesome Rocket set

This Rocket set is absolutely awesome! Love how they captured the look of Rocket. My son was challenged by the build, but it came out great. Not the best for active play; but has held together

This might be the creepiest\ugliest set Lego ever produced. It's a fun build, but in my opinion, it looks nothing like Rocket.

Baby Groot steals the show

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This build comes out to a pretty decent size yet small enough to easily display after completion. I really enjoyed that the joints are moveable so he was easily configurable to many positions. He is super fun to play with because he’s moveable and has cool weapons to show off that inspires imagination. The build was relatively challenging yet enjoyable. The manuals were detailed and easy to follow but take time. I am satisfied with the final product. There aren’t many stickers which I appreciate. The intricate details were impressive. I liked the uniqueness of the tail. Baby Groot as a miniature figure is obviously the winner of the show. This build is great for older children as well as adults that love Marvel (or even just Groot for his cuteness).
