Dinosaur Rules the World...again

Second build of 2024. This is an unique concept of the dinosaur skull build, hopefully this is a preview of what's coming of more dino skull builds (similar to the variations of LEGO dino figures we've been getting). I wouldn't have guessed the build was for a dino skull until Bag 6 (towards end of build), which was a cool surprise. The base is also surprisingly stable, as I had concern the skull would be 'top heavy' when I first saw the set. This is a pretty good size set for the price point in my opinion. This is a very pleasant build overall, and I especially appreciate the Easter egg.

Cool display for dinosaur fans

As someone who was a child when Jurassic Park came out I’ve been obsessed with Dino’s since I was a kid and this set is amazing. Not only does it make use of a lot of fun building techniques in the trex skull but how the foot comes together is near genius, I hope we get more of these fossil skulls because they are a cool adult display the only negative is there isn’t much play for a child after built but 5/5 highly recommend.

The best set I've built in a while!

The picture on the website does not give this set justice, it is absolutely incredible! The build experience kept me laughing because I was surprised at how suddenly the set came together! Beyond this, you can tell that the designer knows and loves their dinosaurs, as a paleoartist, I was absolutely delighted to see the orbit, antorbital fenestrae, nasal, infratemporal fenestrae, the supertemporal fenestrae and even the extra fenestra in front of the antorbital fenestra that is unique to tyranosaurs! Anyway I am absolutely delighted, and if Lego makes more dinosaur skulls I will buy ALL of them! There was one hickup in that there was a single, tan, one by three plate missing from the set that I had to substitute, which isn't cool, unlike this set which is absolutely amazing please make more of these Lego!!

Super cool build not to hard and pretty easy to complete. Great detail and design is spot on. I recommend having this set for sure. I give this overall set an 8 out of 10. Get it before they are extinct.

For the price this set is a total steal! This was the funnest build I’ve done yet and it looks killer on my bookcase. I seriously smile ear to ear every time I see it because it is SO COOL. Highly recommended.

Good display piece

This is a great set for the Lego shelf. Fun, easy to build and displays well. I plan on sitting it next to the giant brick-built T.Rex from the UCS Jurassic park archway set from 2019. I wish this set would’ve come with a mini figure scale T.Rex but many of those are available in other sets. This set receives an “A-“ from the Brick Professor.
