New Family Tradition

My husband and I do the adult sets together as a hobby. Our 5.5 year old is so respectful of “mommy and daddy’s legos” but we know how much he wants to participate. While we’ll still be reserving our sets for our couple hobby, we decided to get a Christmas one as a new family tradition. We are doing 20 minutes every evening together, taking turns while we listen to Christmas music. We plan to carefully dismantle after the holiday so we can do it again next year. And maybe down the road we’ll add another set! He’s doing really well with supervision and can usually do his step alone.

Outhouse was a big hit!

My kiddo saw this Alpine Lodge set in your Xmas catalog and requested it for her holiday gift. The outhouse was a huge hit! She really enjoyed building it. She is 11 y/o and it took her 1 day to build without any assistance. It’s an expensive set to build so quickly though. The Friends Apartment set toon her 1.5 days, but was twice the price. Please Lego, make the sets a little more difficult because they cost so much! Thanks.

I have been buying Winter Village piece for years now! This one is by far the best! I absolutely loved building it and was sad when it was completed. I wanted to keep building! I love the ice pond! So many wonderful things about this set!

I was missing a couple of pieces but thankfully I keep leftovers from my other Christmas sets so I was able to work with it. We love the Christmas sets and now have the Alpine Lodge, Santa's sleigh and Santa Visit Christmas House. Would love to add the main street to it at some point but have to watch my $$$. One day!
