Alpine Lodge wish list fulfilled

My husband is the Lego-maniac, I enjoy building too. He previously purchased Santa's Visit and loved it so much that he had me order him this one.
It was on backorder when we ordered it. Lego kept me updated on the progress of this order, and before I knew it, it arrived sooner than we expected. Hubby will wait to build it for next xmas, so we can have a big table of holiday Lego display.
The box arrived in perfect condition. Lots of paper inside to protect the Lego box. Lego box is perfect. Thank You Lego for protecting our purchases.

Fun winter village addition

Hey after that record breaking summer to build this cool looking lodge is no sweat and helps to forget summer. I am impressed with this set and the price so we ordered 2 for a challenging idea. So far we made the first kit as we wait for the next to arrive. We like the trees and the log cabin lodge look. The outhouse is fun and makes you wonder how hard it was before toilets. Fireplace lighting up is a nice touch looks cozy. The build was easier than it looks. The second kit arrives tomorrow as we plan to see if we can reverse build it to mirror front as a challenge and possibly put a fireplace on the other side in the bedrooms which will be the ulitmate MOC challenge for our expert builders here and as we ponder at kit one I see my son and wife engineering with imagination to make this work. Ok the only issue is the building is a front facade quite thin for a lodge next to santas visit house. But the cool thing it looks like a second kit will work back to back to fill in the lack in size and men and women outhouses work. Come on flushing toilets came before snowmobiles in our world. Also the two other trees look better than the one on the sled. OK we are winter village fanatics and this alpine lodge gets two thumbs up from us all.

Great Addition to our Holiday Sets

My "adult" grandson and I look forward to the holiday Lego sets each year. This is one of our favorites now. The log-like appearance of the lodge makes this unique from other builds. It was fun and offered some challenge.

Versatile set, Halloween make it a haunted house

We built the Alpine Lodge and replaced the Christmas decor with Halloween decor to turn it into a haunted house! Wonderful to use it for more than one holiday. Really a wonderful design with incredible details and fun surprises!
