Happy with purchase after lots of research

So far so good. I had an apple watch 7 which had been cracked and I wanted something new. I like all the health metrics available through the Fitbit app even if after the trial it's $12.99 a month. I have an iPhone 12 and an android phone and decided to settle on mostly using my android. So it was between the pixel watch 2 or Samsung Galaxy watch 6.
The sleep info has been good and the stress feature definitely seems to be working properly. I went to Tim Horton's and it was crazy busy and loud. All of a sudden the watch detected stress or excitement after being there like 3 minutes lol. With the always on display and continuous heart rate I usually get a full day of use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible battery life, zero app improvements

I've been buying fitbit products since they first came out. This pixel watch is such a disappointment. Battery life is absolutely terrible, even with disabling all messaging/calling features, and ensuring display turns off automatically. I basically have to charge it every 30hrs or so.
Google has not made any improvements on the FitBit app either. Same features that they've had for several years.
After this experience my next watch will be a Garmin. This is such a disappointing watch,

Watch is Good, but Fitbit app is a nightmare.

The watch is good.
Pros:
1. Good Battery life
2. Good Measurement of heart-rate and running pace on treadmill
3. Good measurement of Exercises like Lifting, Kettlebell swing etc.
4. Good Display. Like really good display. Can see it in bright sunny day.
5. Bluetooth connectivity doesnt drop. Top notch connectivity with the watch app.
Cons:
1. The Fitbit APP is the worst. People should buy the apple watch just for their app. Apple health app is a few generations ahead compared to this fitbit crap.
2. I wish they could also work for swimming. But I think it's water resistance wont extend to that far.

Enjoyed while it lasted

I did enjoy this smart watch and it's features. However I think a watch should last beyond 18 months before it fries itself on your wrist. Outside of its 1 years warranty so I think I'll opt for a different brand when I do buy another.

I was very disappointed with this purchase as it wasn’t compatible with my phone ,but was not asked any questions about what kind of phone I had or told it would not work with my iPhone so I had to bring it back and then I wasn’t offered a different watch or anything, so was disappointed with the overall experience
