Very Satisfied With My New Whirlpool Dishwasher

Excellent appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher last week and it's doing a great job of cleaning my dishes. My one comment is that the regular drying leaves the sides of the dishwasher wet and the plastic with water droplets. I'm hoping the extra dry will take care of that.

Not So Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dishwasher less than a month and am already having a problem. The door squeaks whenever it's opened or closed. Tonight the door opened but I couldn't get it closed. I finally got it closed by inserting my finger between the top of the door and the latch and pressing down on the latch and slowly closing the door. Not particularly comfortable. My alternative is to always leave the door ajar. I've never been a fan of Whirlpool and this confirms it. I bought this model because I'm not interested in all the bells and whistles on other models. The dishwasher gets the dishes clean and is very quiet. The drying, even on extended dry, leaves moisture behind on the utensil tray so most of the utensils need to be wiped down. The washer is under warranty but I'm sure Whirlpool will make me pay dearly for this.
