It’s completely understandable that there’s a short adjustment period when switching layouts. Moving the controls from a back panel to a front-facing position is a design choice intended to improve accessibility and reduce the need to reach over hot cookware, but it can definitely feel different if your previous range had rear-mounted knobs.
Once you’ve had a bit more time with it, most users find the front control layout easier and more intuitive during everyday cooking, especially when using multiple burners or the oven at the same time.
