Very stupid design. They put the big elements in the front, so when you boil your big pot of water for spaghetti, the water splashes all over the place, over the knobs, so when you try to turn it off, you get scalded. Who designed this? Don't they do product testing? At least one big element should be on the back of the stove. I pity the buyer who has young children. Beware of this safety issue!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this as a set, unfortunately was not able to get the Gallery model in black stainless steel, so went with the base Frigidaire. It looks great and works really well so far, the air fry option is fantastic! Would like a lock out on the front dials for the burners as it's a bit of a hazard with small kids.
We have had this for a month with no issues so far. The pot drawer underneath is built lighter than previous models. Would have preferred that the knobs are located on the back panel instead of the front of the range.
