Emme 360 Rotating All-In-One Convertible Car Seat

The first thing I thought when I unboxed the car seat was ""Wow, look at all that padding!"" Baby is definitely well protected with removable padding as well as nice features like padding on the shoulder straps. It's a well built car seat - I didn't like the removable cupholders though. They seem kind of flimsy and I'm not sure how well they will last over time. The 360 rotation is a wonderful feature and made it a lot easier to get my son out of his seat. He's in the middle seat in our van so it can be difficult to get him out of a regular rear-facing car seat. Having the swivel rotation definitely made for less of a strain on my back! I loved the swivel lock indicator so that I never had to guess whether the car seat was locked back into place. I really liked the magnetic chest buckle as well. One thing I didn't like was the crotch buckle. It was almost flush with the bottom of the car seat and made it kind of difficult to buckle and unbuckle at times. Installation was just as easy as other brands we have purchased in the past. One thing we did notice on installation was a broken piece where the reclining handle is at. I've reached out to Maxi-Cosi to let them know and see what can be done. I feel like this car seat would be functional for many years as your child grows. Really regret this purchase

We really regret this car seat purchase. It’s so difficult to get it to rotate it causes significant pain in my hand and wrist each time to squeeze the button. The strap release also regularly gets caught and there’s no indicator to show when recline position it’s in which is concerning given that the manual prohibits at least one recline position when in rear facing mode.

Worst rotating car seat

I bought the seat, thinking it was the best on the market because I am pregnant and need an easy way to get the baby in and out of the car. The straps were so tight around my baby's legs and you can't adjust it. The squeeze gauge to turn the seat is SO HARD to squeeze, my husband could barely do it. My hand hurt for so long after we kept trying. This was so disappointing. Going with the Evenflo 360.

Emme360 Rotating Car Seat

When I fist received my Emme 360 Rotating All-in-One Car Seat from The Stellar Panel I was very impressed with the structure of the car seat. I pulled it out of the box and it was pretty much already all put together and ready to install. The car seat was bulky and looked very comfy for my babe. My husband and I went to install the car seat. While installing it was more complicated than I anticipated it to be as this is my 3rd child and I have installed a number of car seats. We used the latch straps which I feel the type of latches are old school and more difficult to latch to the seat. Which just the latch strap the car seat moved and wiggled more than we felt comfortable with so we took those off and used the seat belt. The seat belt install made the seat feel a little more stable and less wiggly. We ended up having to watch a video on youtube in order to see how to install. I did not use the video chat support as I was not aware that was an option for install. I do feel now that we are using the seat belt the car seat is installed properly. When it came to use the seat, I was able to rotate the car seat once but since that first day I cannot get it to rotate. So while the idea of the rotate feature seems like an amazing concept, this is too difficult to rotate and often gets stuck, so I am using the seat like I would with any other traditional car seat. Additionally, the strap that releases the harness, does not work. So as my son gets bigger I will not be able to use the car seat as I cannot loosen it. Believe this car seat is great for multiple stages; however, in the rear facing position my son looks extremely cramped. He is even my shortest child so I cannot imagine if I would have tried to put one of my longer kiddos in this seat. I feel like he is running out of space and will need to be turned around way earlier than I would have turned my other 2 kids around just based on the space. My favorite features are the magnetic clip on the top

Missed the mark entirely!

Bought this product when it first released. Out of the box it did not swivel as it should and constantly got hung up when turning. The company did replace the seat. The second seat was better but not flawless when swiveling. A few months after installation, we attempted to move the seat from the vehicle it was in to another. The seat was stuck! The seat would not unlatch to flip backwards in order to gain access to the seatbelt compartment. A technician walked us through various solutions on video chat for over an hour. The last solution was to cut our seatbelt from the vehicle. As this was not an acceptable option we pressed for another solution, asking if we could cut the cable of the car seat holding the seat in place. At first the technician stated the car seat had to remain intact and sent back to the company for a refund and we would have to cut our cars seatbelt. Again, this was not acceptable and eventually the technician gained approval and authorization to cut the cable in attempt to get the seatbelt out of the car seat. With three people, we were able to free the seatbelt. I would nit recommend this product. Such as disappointment. We switched to another company and it is everything we had hoped from the maxi cosi. We have used maxi cosi products in the past and loved them. This one just missed the mark entirely.

Gets stuck

I really wanted to love this car seat , but it is so hard to rotate. It always gets stuck. It’s also super heavy, I didn’t realize how heavy it would be. Love the concept, but maybe I should have spent the extra money on a Nuna.

Comfy and washable!

I received the Emme car seat as part of a product testing program with Dorel. Overall is is a comfortable and quality carseat that I feel safe putting my kid in. I like how easy it is to convert from rear to front to booster and finally a brand made their covers machine washable! ! I wish the straps were easier to loosen-tighten, but otherwise I like the seat!

This car seat is trash. Listen to the other reviews and save your money. It is almost impossible to turn, I can press the lever no problem but I have to absolutely wrench on the whole carseat to get it to turn. It is ridiculous. I hate it.
