Ultimate Comfort

My son disliked his infant car seat so much that he would cry every time we were in the car. It was miserable. We decided to switch him to a convertible car seat at just a few months old and did a lot of research for one that would be comfortable with soft and breathable fabric. We ended up choosing the Maxi Cosi Pria 85, which we have loved so I was so excited when I received the new Maxi Cosi 3 in 1 to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. Similar to the Pria 85, my favorite part about this seat is the fabric. It's soft, comfortable and most importantly breathable – so much nicer than other seats we've tried. The cushions also seem cushy for baby to provide ultimate comfort. The cover is easy to remove, cleans up well and goes back on easily. Bonus that it comes in such cute colors! My husband installed the seat and thought it was very easy, we used this both rear and forward facing and both positions seemed comfortable for my son. The headrest and harnesses are easy to adjust and the strap holders are convenient when I remember to use them! I would say the harness on this model is smoother than on the Pria 85. My son loves that this seat at 2 cup holders while his old Pria 85 only had one. The cup holders on this model are a little smaller so don't fit large cups, but not a big deal. We have not yet used this in booster mode but I'm excited that it goes up to 100 pounds. The one thing I'm unsure of is if my son will like being in the full seat versus as smaller booster as he gets older….I'm afraid he might think the seat is too "baby like" at some point – to be determined, I guess. Overall, I would highly recommend this seat and all Maxi Cosi car seats. In my opinion, the soft and breathable fabric (especially in warm climates or for temperamental babies) sets them apart from other brands. Once again, I received this Infant Car Seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

Nice Car Seat!

If you are looking for a convertible car seat that can be used from birth into toddler years I'd recommend the Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat! I received this car seat from the weeSpring Parent Panel to try and my son is 10 months old so I didn't use it with a newborn. However, I believe with all the inserts it came with that a newborn could safely and comfortably ride in this seat, and I may use this seat starting at the beginning with our next baby. I love the color pattern on this car seat and I love that it seems to be comfortable to my son. It was very easy to adjust the headrest and the harness position to make sure my son was properly secured. I also liked how easy it was to adjust the recline level and that there aren't as many recline options as there are on some other seats so I didn't have to think too much about which level was right for my son. The only thing I didn't love about this seat was that it was really hard for me to get a good tight install with the seatbelt. I always install my sons car seat in the middle seat, and it is not an option to use the lower anchors in the middle seat of my car. It was difficult to get the seatbelt tight enough and ended up taking both my husband and I to install it. I wish that this seat had an internal way of locking off the seat belt to really get it secure. Overall though, I really like this seat! The first and last car seat you'll ever need!

The Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat lived up to my high expectations. As a mom of two, we have purchased numerous car seats over the years to outfit our cars, the grandparents' cars, for travel, and for the nanny. This is best seat to date. It is our second Maxi Cosi seat and it lived up to the standard we know and love. The fabric colors are stylish and the fabric choices luxurious. Because it is well made, it is easy to adjust and the straps don't roll or twist like cheaper seats. The strap holders are cushy and I know my little one is as comfortable as he is safe. My favorite feature? The longevity of the seat. This is last seat we will ever need! I received this car seat as part of the weeSpring parent panel, and I couldn't be happier. Happy mom, happy baby!

Best Seat Ever!!!!

The Pria 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat is nothing short of amazing! This is the ONLY car seat my 7-month-old will happily and willingly get into. He is positioned in a reclined rear facing position. The Pria 3-in-1 was very easy to install, and the instruction manual was easy to understand with picture diagrams. My favorite features of the car seat are the removable cup holders. They are also may I add dishwasher safe. In the past, the cup holders have been the hardest parts of the seat to clean thoroughly as they typically do not detach from the seat itself. The car seat is very durable and sturdy and I appreciated it staying in place. The headrest and harness was easy to adjust. One added bonus is the metals and materials the seat is made out of. They aren't blazing hot when I go to place my baby into his seat in the summer heat. The entire car seat is plush and protective with a lot of cushion all around. The seat also appears to sit up higher than other car seats. The shoulder straps include removable pads that are wonderful. They gave my son an extra layer of comfort. I found the fabric to be constructed of a nice quality and appealing. I am happy it is removable and I haven't washed it yet to see how it holds up. The seat reclines into 3 different positions which worked well for us. When my son used to fall asleep in his infant carrier, his head rotated forward. Now with the recline, his head no longer rotates forward and he sleeps comfortably without placing strain on his neck. The harness holders are a genius invention! You no longer have to fish around for straps after placing your child in their car seat. You just unlatch them and strap your child in as usual. If there was anything to complain about, it would be the size of the seat. I have a Honda CRV and it takes up almost half the seat space in the back. I highly recommend the Pria 3-in-1. Safety, comfort and design in one great seat!

This is my third baby so this is my third convertible car seat. The Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 convertible car seat is by far my favorite. It has all the features that I loved about my other car seats combined into one. I originally started my newborn out in an infant car seat but he looked so uncomfortable I decided to try him in the Pria. I love the soft, luxurious fabric on the Pria. The extra cushioning not only makes him look much more comfortable but also looks so much safer if there were to be an accident. The Pria also has a infant positioning pillow for small newborns to sit on to get a better and safer seating position. This really helped my small baby sit better in such a big seat. The headrest is great for keeping his head positioned properly so that it doesn't fall into an air-way constricting position. I haven't tried taking off the car seat cover yet but it looks fairly simple which is necessary when blowouts and throw up happens (trust me, they will happen). One thing I think is a must is the seat belt covers that keep the belts from digging into baby's neck. The seat belts are very easy to adjust as baby grows with just a pull on the headrest. I absolutely love that the Pria has the easy LATCH system. The easy LATCH system makes it so simple to move this car seat from one car to another with just the click of a button. Installation was a breeze with just a click and a tighten. Another great feature is the removable and dishwasher safe cup holders. Those things are always getting dirty once baby becomes a toddler. The only negative to me was the seat belt covers are a little large and a bit too easy to come off. This can make buckling in a newborn difficult. Ultimately though the Maxi Cosi Pria 3-in-1 is a great car seat that I would definitely recommend to everybody. It has all the best safety, comfort and design features I wanted and more. Nice seat but could use s few tweaks

What I loved about this convertible car seat was how comfy it seems! My daughter seems nice and cozy while sitting in her seat and always manages to fall asleep! The seatbelts tighten like a dream and the headrest is extremely easy to adjust! They added little clips on the sides to hold back the straps so they don't get tangled underneath your child's butt which is very clever! The incline also adjusts relatively easy by putting pressure on the bottom lever and slightly pushing the chair into a recline position.The Pria 3-1 seems very sturdy and places in the car farely easily but keep in mind it is an all in one for there is some weight to it! How amazing is it to only have to buy one seat and know it will be able to grow with your child. I tested out this seat with my 10 month old as well as with my 4 year old, and they both sat great and securely. They both seemed to love having 2 cup holders that they could stash away snacks and somewhere to put there drinks! I thought it was brillant to be able to remove the cups by turning them counter clockwise for easy cleanings! The cup holders get so mungy so to be able to take those off is great! I did just for reference remove the cover and give it a wash which seemed pretty simple. I figured out buttons and snaps quickly and threw it in the wash- allowing it to air dry. Came out nicely! Personally I do find the fabric on this seat a bit "cheap" looking. It seemed to wrinkle easily. I tend to prefer not to feel the plastic frame underneath when running my fingers along the side of the seat. What I did have an issue with was tightening the latching system. No matter how hard I tugged, while either sitting on the chair itself or having my husband push down, I never seemed to be able to adequately tighten the straps! It was nearly impossible to tighten the latching system. It was a nightmare! Mother thing to keep in mind is the added cushions for smaller babies just float around in the seat, Which I didn't love

LOVE IT

Love this carseat. i was already in the market for a car seat for my 4 month old and was looking for one that can grow with her. I love the build of this car seat and how comfortable my baby looks in it. It's very easy to adjust, the only time I had to read the manual was when I was trying to lean the seat forward from testing out how far it leans back. Love the infant insert and the cushion in the seat that will sit the baby up. I didn't get to use it as my baby is too big, but love the concept. The fabric is great. I didn't try to take it off so I'm not sure how easy it'll come off. Otherwise, the seat is great!!! I received this product through the weespring parent panel.

Surprise hit with my toddler

I was given this Infant Car Seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I've been very impressed! My son always hated his infant car seat with a passion, and I was shocked to find that he was pretty happy with this Maxi-Cosi one. He even sat in it by choice while it sat in our living room for a few days before I installed it! The fabric is plush and comfy, the easy adjustment of the straps was very helpful, and the thoughtful touches made it easy for me to use. I'm excited that this one car seat will last us far into the future, and if we have a second baby, I love knowing that I don't need to buy another infant seat but can use this one throughout. I wish I had gotten it earlier. Would definitely recommend to others.
