I purchased this based on Yale's reputation and I don't think I've ever purchased a product that had so many flaws discovered just during setup. First, there was no disclosure about the Wifi bridge in the product description. Placement of trhe bridge means your choice of safe location is dictated by 1) a close by power outlet and 2) few obstructions between the safe and the bridge. The setup even says that best to have the safe keypad point at the bridge. Just what everyone wants: a safe that needs to be placed out in the open facing an outlet.
To date (and its being returned) its Wifi connectivity has never worked (app can't find the safe as soon as I walk 20 feet away), the LED lights flash incessantly after I open it (counter to what the manual says), the safe does not close as the manual says (only the checkbox will lock the safe), the keypad only beeps on the first button press (counter to the manual and makes you question whether you hit the number accurately), and the battery cover (and sometimes the batteries) falls off if you close the door too hard, which is frustrating because you will wonder why your safe won't lock. With around half a dozen issues uncovered in the first 4 hours of use, there's bound to be a half dozen more yet to be discovered. In terms of products you don't want to have any issues with, your home safe is probably pretty close to the top.

After a couple of hiccups with the start up, it works exactly as it should. Although I purchased the WiFi version, it didn't arrive with a connect hub. Fortunately, I already have one for already installed door locks. Once I got through the start up process, it works exactly like my door locks - using either keypad, Bluetooth or WiFi. I was able to add a profile for the safe along with my existing locks and gave family members access through the app. Love it so far.

The convenience of just having to know your pin is convenient. You do get an extra hard key to unlock it just in case but the key is very distinguishable and doesn't look like all other keys which makes it easy to find/stand out.
The only reason why I wouldn't give this a 5 star is because it's not exactly rated for when your house catches on fire. I wouldn't put this item in an old house that has a higher chance of catching on fire but modern houses, this will work fine.

We needed to find a safe as our community bank was eliminating bank safety boxes. The marketing material for this safe is somewhat comical describing our the safe can easily be with your home decor ! The safe itself is rather lightweight but can be bolted down either on the bottom or back with supplied hardware. Overall setup was easy for Bluetooth and WiFi however the WiFi module needs to be within 10 feet of the safe. The Yale app doesn’t allow you to change the name from the default “front door” to “safe” so clearly the manufacturer hasn’t invested in resources to upgrade the app, but it does function ok. The safe isn’t fireproof but Sentry’s fireproof bag can fit inside. So far operating is without any problems.
