Failed at 2.5 years. App shows jammed, motor fail

Product failed at 2.5 years. App says door jammed. Swapped out batteries, recalibrated the lock, uninstalled the lock, examined all parts nothing jammed, lubricated the moving parts, put the lock back together, problem persisted. Smart functions are all normal, tries to auto lock when the door closed, one touch lock attempts to lock, app also responsive, but any lock command returns door jammed error. Pretty sure the hardware, particularly the motor that locks/ unlocks, failed.
All the reviews about it failing and getting jammed are true. Listen to those reviews. I didnt and Im right where they said I would be. For what it costs it's terrible it stops working so soon. It's not work it. Going to never buy a Yale lock again.
C'mon, this shouldn't be that hard. I've recalibrated, reset, put in fresh batteries, updated my app, etc. Nothing has helped, still reports "jammed". Mind you, the mechanicals on the lock - handles, keys, bolt movement, etc. all work perfectly find as does the bluetooth connectivity. However, the lock constantly reports "jammed". After two hours of troubleshooting using Yale's online resources and what I can find on the web it appears the motor has suddenly failed. Should be an easy replacement, right? No, I'm shopping for a new lock -- which will definitely NOT be from Yale.
Purchased lock 2 years when the lock stopped working was informed by support that it was the motor and were offered a 20% discount to replace. The batteries lasted longer than the lock . We will be replacing with a kwik set or Schlage. I would of given 0 stars if available.
Good lock, but protective film would not cleanly remove from front side of lock and pieces were still stuck there after install and were unsightly. I figured that I needed to reverse my steps and take apart the lock so I could remove the film fragments. I got the pieces off the front face plate that were caught between it and the door, but this nearly doubled my install time. My only other complaint is that the door levers feel a bit loose and I wish they had a tighter fit.
I bought the lock online. It showed up. Installation was multi-steps but easy since it was a perfect replacement for the existing holes in the door. I had a fundamental question about the operation that has gone unanswered. I'll try again. Maybe someone will respond.
