Nice design, convenient, but just-OK performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked out this sander to fill in the gaps where my large orbital sander is too much And I just want something small and quick to get the job done. It sands OK and gets into small spaces well given the shape of the plate. I like the easy hook-and-loop sanding pads, the environmental “green”-ness of the item, and the battery power that makes it super portable.
I used the sander on one of my small woodcraft projects. Maybe my expectations were too high, but power was underwhelming and it took a lot longer than I’d expected to make my project smooth. It seemed kinda buzzy in my hand and fairly loud, too. I was able to sand the box sign I was working on much quicker with my plug-in orbital sander, but with that I couldn’t get into the corners as well and I had to plug it in. Trade offs… I’d say this is OK for light use, but I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s going to be your one and only sander.

Perfect for detailed sanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sander is perfect for me. I have been wanted to sand my kitchen cabinets that can sand in corners and small areas. The Black and Decker Cordless Detail sander is perfect. It has a triangle shape sander, lithium battery to get 30 minutes or more of run time and it comes with 3 different grit sand paper. Can't wait to get to all my DIY projects.

Good Sander

First of all, its cordless so not only is it just convenient in general but you can literally take/use it anywhere. The charge lasts for quite awhile depending how much you're sanding of course. But i am impressed with the battery life. It packs a punch, it works really well, has alot of power. And its a compact size enough for travel or storage. Nice quality product.

Comfortable to use

Light weight and easy to use tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to handle and very light weight. The battery life was pretty adequate for a small project. The more I sanded with it the sand paper would not stay in place as easily. I would use this sander for finishing work and if needed to get into corners on projects. The point makes it easy to get into corners more easy than other sanders that I have. I used this to sand a stuffed animal zoo I’m working on for my nephew.
