I bought this a month ago glad I did. I love the surround sound performance of TX-nr3100 I only use it for movie nights on Saturdays, the only thing is how many watts I'm getting into 4 ohms load per channel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, decent AV Receiver but....

Good AV Receiver for the price and features for an entry level system. But it's got some bugs Onkyo needs to work out to make it work better, since I had to reset it a few times for various reasons like no sound. Hopefully, Onkyo is aware of these little nagging issues and can fix them with a firmware update.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a couple of months ago and cannot say enough about it. First and foremost, the sound. It’s incredible. It brings my CD collection to the next level. It makes them sound so lifelike as if you were in the recording studio. I am extremely pleased with this receiver.
