[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great budget 4k option. Also the screen is fully wall mountable ignore what the LG team member said. You just need 20mm M4 screws and risers for whatever wall mounting bracket you use. I used the Mount it MI-442 TV Wall mount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't use the monitor a lot. After purchasing, use it for less than 15 times. After the first few times, I started having issues with it. I use it as my laptop's extended monitor, first I found the brightness and contrast of the monitor cannot be tuned. After submitting repair ticket, I only receive an email directing me to a website which didn't help at allAt daytime, it's too deem and at night, it's too bright. Later on, I found after my laptop went to sleep mode, and monitor is down. When my laptop is back from sleeping, the monitor cannot get back to work. And nothing helps unless I re-plug the power supply. Such a bad experience with a new purchasing. This is my first LG product and it left me a very very bad impression of LG products - poor quality.

Hey there. This isn't the experience we wish for you to have. Monitor displays are the face of any computer setup, so we would like to ensure there are no knots or bends in the connection between the laptop and the extended display. If you are still experiencing any questions or concerns regarding LG's products or features, please reach out to us via social media @LGUSSupport. ~ Jupe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic monitor if you need something to play multiple roles. The monitor itself runs the same webOS software as LG's TVs and you set it up just like you would the TV (remote and all) . There are also a number of apps that are available so you can stream without needing to be connected to a computer. The built in speakers are solid for built in speakers and as a TV it's a pretty good one. HDR10 is available and it can get very bright. It is an IPS screen so you won't be getting those OLED blacks, but it's very good for what it is.
I/O selection is good with USB-C and multiple HDMI plugs available. When plugging in my laptop, the monitor immediately shifted from the TV software to a mirror of it. I did some quick photoshop work to see how it would compare and it did well. It only covers 80% of DCI-P3 vs. 99% on my laptop, but I don't do any serious work that requires that much color accuracy and it looked good to me. Out of the box I'd say it is biased towards being contrasty, but I was able to tune it to be more similar to my laptop. Because of the sheer size of the monitor, it is great for productivity if you can sit far enough away from it. Given the size, I was able to have 4 large windows on the screen at once, however, if you're sitting too close you're going to be craning your neck to try to see content higher up. Overall, a great monitor for productivity and will easily replace dual monitor setups.
On the gaming front, the 43SQ700S-W is okay. Refresh speed is acceptable (5ms) but not as good as a dedicated gaming monitor. I tried this monitor with my gaming PC, PS5, and Switch and didn't have any issues with them. Switching between the different inputs was easy too.
All in all, this is a really good all-around monitor for a good price. The main selling point is the size of the screen and while you do have to sit a little further back to use it comfortably, if you have the space this is great. It functions well as a TV and a monitor and has the I/O to leave multiple things plugged in at all times. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted something for the guest room that could be used as a monitor for my home office, but also serve as a TV. This is that embodiment.
It's a pretty big display. You know how big it is before ordering, but you kinda don't realize until it's on a desk, and it does fit fine, but it's really big. It's a full sized TV.
In terms of quality, it's well built and feels solid. It has a host of ports, including a Type-C port and 3 full sized USB ports to serve as a hub for your laptop. It also has 2 HDMI ports for a console or other media source. The remote is cute. It's a small little thing that has excellent buttons (a small detail but something I really enjoy about it).
The display is bright and vibrant. Has great picture quality and one of the reasons I opted for this was that it was 4K. It's a nice panel that can handle movies, games, pictures, etc. Anything you throw at it'll show with great detail, pop, and clarity.
The speakers are also great. They get loud and don't sound incredibly sharp or rough. They aren't the most amazing speakers, but for a monitor/mini TV they sound great and have a decent punch.
The monitor also has an optional webcam attachment (which I bought as well). It works really well in a well lit environment but isn't the best in lower lit areas.
Overall, it's a really great display. I love the versatility and that it's meant to be used in pretty much any environment. I'm glad I have something like this to use around the house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things, this monitor is HUGE. At 43 inches it's essentially a mid-sized TV and it also has the apps to make it a competent one. From a monitor perspective, it's got enough ports that you'll be able to find one that matches what your computer needs. I liked that it had a VESA mount because it meant that I could mount it on the wall with a standard wall bracket. Image quality is solid. It's an IPS panel so you won't get those deep OLED blacks, but still it's very good for normal day to day use. I've got this monitor connected to the family computer so it sees a lot of use and between web browsing, video streaming, and homework help, we have been happy with the monitor. The only thing I would suggest is to have a good wireless keyboard/mouse for use with the monitor. It's a very big monitor to have on a desk and trying to use it on one while also sitting 1-2 feet from the monitor is a lot of screen in your face. All in all, I really enjoy this monitor, its picture quality, and the ability to watch shows on it without needing to boot up my computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the white aesthetic as it matches my decor the bedroom and this size of 43 inches is perfect for putting at the foot of the bed. The only negative thing about this monitor is it has two HDMI inputs, one of which is used for eARC. I ended up using a small HDMI switcher, which solved my issues with multiple inputs. I really like the on screen streaming platform that LG uses since it’s so easy to use. The monitors 4K resolution is great for gaming as well. Thank you insiders for taking care of my broken, monitor and shipping and getting me a fully functional and awesome product from LG.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is amazing! It is a huge monitor and I love it! I can use my monitor for anything, work, gaming and to watch movies and videos. The colors are great, bright and vibrant. I love it comes with speakers that actually sound good.
It is a smart monitor, that means you can enjoy different apps and streamings without connecting it to another device but in case you need to, this monitor has several different ports (including 3 USB ports) that will allow you to connect whatever you want, this made me love even more my monitor.
Now I spend all day in front of my monitor. Mornings working and in the evenings playing video games or watching movies.
