After living with the Polk Legend 800, they make me wonder about speakers that do not have stereo dimensional array technology interaural crosstalk is very real. They put sound exactly where it should be that is in the recording, the detail, clarity and base is amazing.
I went from Onkyo NR7100, then Onkyo RZ50, and now the RZ70.
The NR7100 was awesome on the Polk Legend 800, then the RZ50 was beyond expectations and now the RZ70 is just mind blowing, I hear things in recording the creator may not have been aware is in the recording like a musician thuring sheet music and hearing a gnat flying around the mic on a top of the chart Hit, all the Onkyo's I mentioned are Bi-Ampable, I Bi-Amp them all I would recommend to anyone purchasing any of the Polk Legend Series to Bi-Amp.
If I had purchased originally just the Onkyo RZ70 paired with the Polk Legend 800 I would never know what I have, but all these Onkyo RZ50 paired to the Polk Legend 600 and the NR7100 paired to the Polk Legend 200 tell me what I have so I appreciate the Onkyo RZ70 paired to Polk Legend 800 even more.
Onkyo NR7100 paired to Polk Legend 200: Bi-Ampable, Just the Left and Right Channel no Center Channel Bi-Amp.
Onkyo RZ50 paired to Polk Legend 600 Just the Left and Right Channel no Center Channel Bi-Amp.
Onkyo RZ70 paired to Polk Legend 800 all 3 Channels “LCR'' Left, Center and Right are Bi-Ampable. Now I can hear every detail like never before.
Now feel it with a pair of REL H T/1205 for .1 LFE everything is SQL with just the right amount of SPL.
Integrated a Sub on Center Chanelle to balance the system because the L800 goes down 32 hz and the L400 only goes down to 55 hz adding a REL T/7X that goes down to 30 hz balanced everything out.

Greetings everyone. I had a Yamaha RX-A2060 that I loved, but it broke, now I bought the Onkyo TX-RZ70 wow I love it!!!! And I'm still learning with the receiver, the first calibration with Dirac completely eliminated the bass, but I looked for a video on YouTube and managed to tweak it pretty well and I still have a lot to play with the Onkyo. I downloaded some Harman target curves and I need to apply it to see how it goes lol.

The TX-RZ70 is an audiophile quality receiver with many high-quality features and capabilities. From eleven powerful channels of amplification, overall power, miniscule noise levels, high quality pre-amp that can be selectively enhanced with one or more even better quality pre-amps or amplifiers, to the ability to easily integrate with many external systems--you will not be disappointed in the sound quality, power, integration, flexibility and overall capabilities of the TX-RZ70. I cannot count how many times I saw reviews of competing receivers and double-checked... did the Onkyo have this feature? That feature? Yes and often better has been the most frequent and re-assuring answer. It's a great, flexible receiver at a great price, and a fine backbone for any quality audio/visual system.

I recently acquired the RZ-70 to upgrade my 7.1.2 setup from the NR7100 to 7.1.4. I was surprised by both the new configuration and the sound fidelity of the RZ-70, which truly brings the sound to life. The RZ-70 is a beast, in the best sense of the word.
