Pretty, Functional, But Not Perfect!

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now (3/1/2024) and overall, I love the microwave, how flush it is, the options and features. The one continuous problem I'm seeing is that the clock doesn't hold the time, and has to be reset daily. This is irritating. When we as consumer choose to invest in/purchase certain products, brands, etc., the hope is that it will function properly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of features that barely work

We bought this microwave with a full kitchen suite and absolutely hate it. We love all our other appliances so much, but the microwave frustrates us daily. The “no turntable” simply means food will not cook or heat up evenly, for example, you cook a frozen burrito and one end is frozen the other is not, not a problem with ANY other normal turntable microwave. Then you have the problem that because the food stays still it takes longer to heat. Then the features that we originally bought it for like the oven and air fry work horribly compared to dedicated appliances.
This microwave can do everything, but it can’t do anything good. Only 2 months in and already trying to buy a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave convection oven, owned for over a year, functions solely as a microwave due to consistent burning of all cooked items. The product, purchased for supplemental oven use, is highly disappointing. Thermometer readings significantly exceed set temperatures (e.g., 400°F instead of the set 325°F), indicating a need for calibration. However, calibration instructions are unavailable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aide appliances aren’t the greatest. I have all Kitchen Aide and 4 months ago, replaced 3 of them. The last microwave only lasted a few years and never worked properly. Had to unplug it and didn’t buy a new one for many years. Since the other appliances are KA, we wanted to replace with the same. This new one loses power every week and I have to redo the time and date. There aren’t any instructions. Too hard to find online. Can’t even use the convection or air fryer, because no instructions. These are more expensive than most and not worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an awesome microwave! This thing is seriously feature packed with just about anything you’d ever need in a kitchen appliance, all packed into one device. I can’t believe it has an air fryer mode, which I tried out with frozen French fries and it cooked them just as well as my dedicated air fryer. The stainless steel look matches well with some of my other appliances, even though a majority of my appliances are black. The interior of the air fryer is on the smaller side, but I’m never heating anything large up anyway in my microwave. I like that it also has smart infrared sensors to detect if food is cooked to perfection, which comes in handy for reheating or cooking many foods. How long will this last, I can’t say, but I do know it performs really well in my various tests.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many settings (dehydrate, air-fry, toaster oven) even connects to wifi! It fit great in a standard above range spot. Works GREAT. Well built and absolutely gorgeous. Comes with safety warnings and multiple basket attachments. No annoying beep when food is done cooking. My only complaint is that the clock won’t hold time correctly, but not a big enough issue to knock down to 4 stars. I love my kitchenaid microwave and HIGHLY recommend it.
