[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child was so excited to receive this doll. There is something about gold that screams rich and luxurious to kids. This doll is really neat because she comes.with pierced ears and painted finger nails which is something not all Barbie dolls have. She has a pretty hair style as well. The dress is sparkly and just perfect for a holiday ball. My child said she is going to be the queen.

This 35th Anniversary 2023 Holiday Barbie is absolutely stunning. Probably my favorite thus far. She is dressed in a beautiful golden gown with a tulle skirt that is adorned with shimmering gold stars. Love the curls in her hair. This will be one of my daughters favorite holiday gifts this year.

A Collector's Barbie, Not for Play Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty Barbie for collectors, but may not see too much play time. My daughter got a small hole in the cape just taking the Barbie out of the box. The overskirt of the dress and cape are both tulle. My daughter thinks it's fancy, but I think it looks sort of cheap - especially the transition between the starry part and plain part. The doll, herself, is only articulated at the neck, arms, and hips and the bent arm makes changing her clothes difficult. Her hair is beautiful, but hard styled. She has nice earrings and bracelet accessories and pretty shoes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love that she comes with a certificate of authenticity and (as my daughter put it) “a gorgeous sparkly holiday dress!!” Packaging was easy to open, which I appreciated. The one thing my daughter and I both noticed is her hair was a little “crunchy” - it seems there was product I’d some sort in the doll hair to keep the curls tight. She comes wear high heels - these are the only small accessories with her (which again, I appreciate!). Would recommend!
