I think this AC deserves 5 stars but I’m holding off until the remote control gets an update. It is the slowest remote, quarky and at times doesn’t respond at all to commands. I bought another GE window ac unit at the same time as this one and it’s pretty much the same as far as the remote goes.
I do think this inverter type is pretty awesome. The DB level is way way better than a conventional unit. I hope this AC lasts as long as most wall units I’ve had in the past. Typically they seem to just keep running for years with no issues no matter what brand I bought. This inverter is a game changer. Hopefully it’ll have a long life.

Quiet and great for bedroom

This thing is amazing. We had some cheaper AC units but they’d constantly cycle on and off at night making it impossible to sleep with the AC on. This thing stays constant essentially all night and makes a world of a difference. Plus it’s way quieter. Very happy with our purchase

Quiet, easy operation

Cools the room quickly. Operation is pretty quiet, so it's not conflicting with tv, radio, etc. It was very easy to install, and set-up and use is a no-brainer. We replaced a slightly less powerful air conditioner, and this one does a much better job of keeping a large room cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
