[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of OtterBox products, but this one doesn’t really live up to expectations. The clear back is kind of fun if you have a colored iPad. The flap is nice, that you can prop it up on the fold, but I had a similar one that had more folding options, if that makes sense. I’m also not a big fan of the stretchy band to keep the flap closed. My other covers have magnets that just hold it in place with no extra effort. Placing the band around the flap just seems too cumbersome compared to the magnets. My last complaint is that the slot/strap for the pencil is useless. It doesn’t allow the pencil to charge because it doesn’t go flush with the side of the iPad. With all that being said, I think it offers great protection and is a good option if you have nothing to compare it to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke after one week

There is much I like about the folio, but the pencil holder no longer works. It falls out when I put the pencil. I found out my warranty might not work since I bought it from apple. HadBeen using Otterbox forever, so this case is a disappointment.

Nice material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this folio case. Its material is really sturdy and it closes and opens very nicely. I like how it feels when I put my hands on it and I enjoy having a peaceful mind that my iPad won't get destroyed when I/my cats accidentally drop it.

Whenever I drop my iPad, the hard material of the case completely obliterates any chance of damage. When I accidentally drop food in the case, it absorbs it and doesn’t leave a trace. Definitely recommend!
