Nearly set out hours on fire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] good thing what happened did not happen in the middle of the night while we were sleeping or after we left for our event. Not really sure what exactly happened but while getting ready to leave our house the control panel started binging, as if it was turning on. Didn’t do it just once, nobody was using it or touching it. But it kept making the noise. I checked the knobs over and over and nothing was on or anything crazy. So I went back to gathering the last minute items to load. Then all the sudden it made a crazy electrical zapping noise, sparked, made all the house lights flicker. Then smoke came billowing out of the small display window where the clock/timer is. We ripped the stove away from the wall and unplugged it so it did not burst into flames. The house STILL smells like burnt electrical wires and of course now we no longer have a stove or oven. Thank you LG for making such a horrible oven that it nearly committed murder after only 6 years of life. Oh and our 5 year warranty just an out on it too.. I will never buy an LG range EVER again.
