Easy to set up as a WiFi printer. can now print from my iPhones as well as from my computers. Printing is noticeably faster and pictures have better color than the Canon MX870 printer this printer is replacing.

This is a great printer but there are problems setting it up. It does not come with a quick setup guide. It would be helpful if there was one included that explained the things you need to address right away such as the administrator's password. It took me days to find what that was and by then it was too late to change it via the printer. Very annoying. And a 690 page manual? Is that really necessary?

Very easy to set up, I was up and printing in 20 minutes. I did have a difficulty connecting to my network via wifi, but once I navigated to the settings I found that WIFI was turned off by default. Once I fixed that, my computers all could see and print to it. It is especially nice to have 2 sided printing again.

I recently purchased this printer as a replacement for an Epson. I like that is has ink tanks rather than cartridges. So far it has worked nicely, printing clear letters and pictures. My biggest complaint is the way the control panel works. It is pretty confusing to use. It has codes for the paper sizes that I am not familiar with and no option for envelopes that I have been able to find. I Googled the various paper sizes and could come up with explanations for only B5 and A4 and 5. The directions for printing pictures and picture sizes is not very clear either. Considering that this printer is NOT an inexpensive model, I feel that the software should be easier use. I have looked at the on-line manual but haven't found this to be user friendly either. I hope that someone is working to update this feature.

Great printer overall. I don't like that it's support for Apple Print is finicky at best and I don't like that I have to turn it on every time I want to use it. It would be nice if there was a power save mode that allowed the wifi to be on, for the printer to automatically turn on when receiving a signal. If the Apple Print issue was fixed and I didn't have to turn it on every time I wanted to print, then it would be a five star. Printing itself is fantastic, quick. Duplex printing is very fast. Prints photos very well. Overall I am pleased and am hopeful that future updates will improve the issues that it has.

I've owned this printer for over a month now and am very pleased with it. I could never get the wireless connection with my Samsung to work, but this Canon has been a dream! The print quality has been fine. While it isn't as fast as my laser printer, the print speed is certainly acceptable. I do wish the paper tray were larger. I can't find a program or a setting that shows the ink level. Surely there is a way to find out how much ink I have left. The only real downside is that if I don't print anything for a while, it will shut off. That's irritating. There needs to be a standby/low power mode that it can go into instead of shutting off. Other than that, I'm very happy with this printer.

Printer is new; very quiet; print quality to acceptable standards.
Set up grade is B- as the insertion of print heads into a flimsy holder is suspect.
The top of the holder is not sturdy and will likely break. I hope parts are available.
