Nice features, but not a must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using various sodastream makers for many years now. Based on my experience with previous models, here are my personal pros and cons of the "Sodastream E-duo":
PROS:
- Very attractive design that fits great in our kitchen
- Surprisingly solid quality (compared to simple sodastream models that are made of rather flimsy material), especially the stainless steel bottle holder
- Easy set up with straight forward instruction booklet (thank you sodastream!)
- No water spills when adding carbonation (my pet peeve on manual models)
- Quick connect cylinder (awesome feature!!!)
- Yay for dishwasher safe bottles!!!
- Uses glass carafes AND bpa free bottles (choose between fancy and practical)
-Operating quietly when adding carbonation
PROS:

CONS
- Requires power (The sole purpose is to select a carbonation preference and add carbonation. I found this feature unnecessary, especially because it adds another unsightly power cord on the counter)
- Inserting the bottle is a bit cumbersome, as the lever and the carbonating head don't move very fluidly. Kids and seniors may have difficulties operating it, as it requires a bit of strength to push the carbonating head down

OVERALL: I'm impressed with the Sodastream E-Duo. The Pros clearly outweigh the CONS, but I would've preferred manual carbonation instead.

Fun, fancy machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sparkling Water is better at home! I usually don't bother with it because the process was more complicated. This machine makes it so easy to have tasty Sparkling Water. The Duo works with the glass and plastic bottle. I use the glass bottle when I have guests over. They love it. It is a matter of pushing a button and then you have it! It makes a sound during the process so you know it is working. The installation looked hard but it just a matter of plugging the power button and attaching the quick connect cylinder. You can add flavors after you make it. Great, fancy product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very pleased with the new upgraded sodas stream sparkling water maker. I love that I can you glass or plastic bottles. And one plus is that is very easy to connect the container. You literally place the bottle I no the metal unit switch it and close it. Super easy. My kids love the fact that we can make flavored sparkling water at home and it’s so fun to do and healthy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn’t be easier to make sparkling water with this machine. It only uses the quick connect cylinder (pink) so don’t get the wrong one. The base tips out to set the bottle in, then just close the lid and slide the tab. The carbonation is preset so one button does it. Takes about five seconds for the highest setting. Based on my calculations, this is a more economical option for me because I drink tons of sparkling water.

Why I love it soo much is because of it I have started to enjoy drinking water. With 3 frizz intensity settings I can fizz up my water to my liking and choice. Versatile, Modern and top notch technology. Very easily to work with, eady to clean and enjoyed by all members of the family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being able to have such an EASY appliance in my kitchen makes me so happy! This literally saves me so much time in the morning in comparison to making a cup of coffee. The neck of the machine locks into places so easily and fits either the plastic or glass bottle without any hassle or fighting. I have had machines in the past where I spent way to much time just trying to get it READY. This machine is efficient, classy and does not take up much space on our counter. The flavor is fantastic and is just as good if not better than store bought. I would recommend your water being chilled prior to mixing! Really enjoyed the 3 levels of available carbonation also.
