We loved our original Sodastream, but it had an issue with the gasket after many years of service, and Sodastream did not hesitate to standby their warranty.

At no time did I realize I was buying an electric model. What if the power goes out? I like my old pump model better even though the chamber mechanisms are sticking. My old model fizzes better.

Wish I had the manual, though. The cord and plug are pesky as I store my unit in the cupboard.
