I do like the design of it. Very well built and good quality product. It tastes just like store bought and you get to ave money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is AWESOME!!!!! It plugs in (electronic) and looks very sleek and fancy. The black and grey matches with all of our appliances and looks chic on our countertop! You almost can't tell what it is, as it looks so different from the usual design. Anyway, it uses the pop in co2 canisters (not the screw in ones) and is easy to open the back, pop it in, and secure it. The front has a latch that slides center to right- At center, it's closed/sealed. When you switch to the right, the top half automatically slides up and the bottom half pops out at an angle towards you. See? Super fancy! You put the bottle full of water in (cold water works best) push the bottom half back in and push the top half down on top, switching the latch back to center. There are 3 buttons on the top for the level of fizz. Push the one you want, and it does its thing. Switch the lever back to open it and it pops back out for an easy grab of the bottle! I love that I can load it and walk away to do something else (good for morning chaos) and then come back when it's done, drop in flavoring, and good to go! I have to drink 3-4 liters of water daily for a medical reason and this has saved me and made drinking it that much easier- I highly recommend it!! Totally worth it.

My local grocery store sells the different flavors and replacement co2 cartridges and my kids and I love experimenting with different sparkling water combos. It’s super easy to use and saves me a lot of cash on sparkling water!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SodaSteam eDUO is fairly easy to use. It comes with both a glass and a plastic bottle, as well as the bottle of carbonation. You have to make sure the carbonation bottle is installed all the way or you could have some issues trying to turn on your soda stream. It has three settings for the amount of carbonation you want (the lowest is more than enough). All in all it’s a pretty fun machine to use, just not exactly worth it for me to use to make a small container of sparkling water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's Nice.... but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you read the instructions and break it in it's a pretty nice setup. There are a couple of things I would love to see changed. The first being that in some instances, even when the bottle is pushed all the way down and I go to close it for pressurizing, it takes several attempts to get it to lock. It is not a very smooth turn. It would be great if there was a way to tell how much CO2 is left in the tank! I have no idea how long the tank will last with my usage, and you'd think that with any pressurized unit there would be at least a gauge of some sort to indicate how much pressure is left. Lastly, my biggest complaint... the unit is so tall that it does not hide itself very well. Storing it becomes problematic. About 17 inches tall, it's definitely noticeable! I'd recommend it if you don't need to store it for any period of time and don't mind it taking up counter space. It produces a good product in the end... just be aware you will need to purchase tank refills that adds on to the overall expense of the machine.
