[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Thinkpad is everything I wanted my next laptop to be - lightweight, durable, more fingerprint resistant than my x1 carbon, screaming fast, long battery life, the fan only runs when it needs to which isn't all the time... I'm glad I finally switched over to AMD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t hesitate if you want a solid machine with the best integrated gpu at this time of review and great battery life. It runs most games on low settings above 60fps. Build quality is superb, and battery seems to last as long as advertised.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm quite happy with this laptop. The case materials have a pleasant feel, which I prefer over my last aluminum bodied laptop. The previous laptop was replaced due to a cracked screen which I hope will be less likely with this product. The swapped Ctrl key location is a bit of an issue when I switch between my desktop. The case and the trackpad also show fingerprints.
In the last twenty years I've used laptops from every major tech company either professionally or for personal use. This Thinkpad is the quintessential "little black laptop." It's business quality in a nice for factor. Overall I've been impressed with it. The 16x10 resolution is great, and the privacy mode on the screen doesn't get in the way, but it works when you need it to. Fingerprint and Face login are nice.
I'm currently dual booting between Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04. Both seem to work ok except for some sleep issues in Ubuntu.
Overall you get what you pay for in a laptop. This is a good quality machine that will last. It's well worth the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the machine is great for everyday tasks! I am a student and love the battery life and performance of the machine. The only problem I have with it is the build quality. First machine had a crackling sound in the speakers, a high pitch wine, and at one point the mouse pad stopped working. I had to order a replacement. The replacement had the mouse pad issue and the hinge appears to be looser than the first model. If I grab the laptop from the hinge side with one hand, it opens ever so slightly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great system overall. Very slender, very lightweight. AMAZED at the improvements from Zen3 to Zen3+, it's actually fairly significant in my tests vs. it's immediate predecessor. The only real downside is that the custom build weren't available, so it's stuck with the 300-nit LCD, which is decent enough, but it's never going to be called good or great. Would loved to have gotten the 400-nit LCD instead. The OEM drive benches at 6500/5000, which is AMAZING for an OEM drive (I was expecing 5000/4000). Really nothing to complain about.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop so far, amazingly thin and well constructed. I noticed a bit of a pop/flex on the underside plate of the laptop only on one side. Slight, but noticeable at times when grabbing the laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top notch machine with all the latest specs. Lenovo let this go at a fabulous price. The Service warranty is great also.
