[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop! I’ve had it for a few weeks so far and it feels wonderful! It is not to heavy and the material of the laptop is soft and feels if quality. The screen is bright enough and the computer runs great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Device seems well made and built. Users are enjoying the variety of features the keyboard comes with and the screen quality is wonderful. So far the device is able to do everything we're needing, excited to buy more for our other users.

Solid Traditional ThinkPad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Earlier Model would not take an update, so returned it with no questions asked. This one working great.
Getting about 9-10 hours of battery life for productivity work and some light surfing. 6850U processor is quick. The 400-nit screen is definitely the one you want -- good brightness and color. Windows Hello facial recognition via the IR camera also works really well on this machine. (As opposed to a few other brands I've tried that always want me to "get close" or "move back" every time I try to use it.)
As for the keyboard, I like it. It has a crisp feel to it and love working on it. I saw a lot of worry about the shorter travel online, but not a problem for me, even through long periods of typing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pretty happy with this computer; would buy it again if I had to go back in time.
Pros:
- Bright screen, even in sunlight.
- Keyboard is nice to type on, good travel and response.
- Trackpad is decent.
Cons:
- Doesn't sleep correctly, thanks goodness Chrome saves my tabs.
- Keyboard had certain keys stop working off and on (replaced by Lenovo/IBM technician and now working correctly).
- Trackpad developed an oil spot in the middle after a few months.

Good, but not great due to odd flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to own a T480s which is a predecessor to the current T14s. I will say this: This T14s has a worse keyboard bc it has shallower key travel as well as keycaps that have a *rough* texture to it. I've owned a T480s and X13 in the past and have also used a T450s and T480 at work and they all had very comfy, *smooth* keycaps. For some reason, the keycaps on this T14s G3 have the same texture as the grainy paint that is used on the body of this machine. While the actuation and feedback of the keys are still good, it's not great anymore. On the grainy paint, I also don't know why Lenovo is not using true black anymore (is that reserved for the X1 line or something)? The paint is instead a dark gray. Whatever. Finally the bottom left corner of the touchpad on my unit *wobbles*. I only have to gently touch that corner of the touchpad and it moves. Really, really strange. Btw, my T480s had an SD card slot too but that's been taken away (to save on costs, I suppose). With all of this said, this laptop has some nice improvements from previous generations, like the Ryzen 6850u chip with RDNA2 graphics (awesome) which runs much cooler and quieter than the Intel chip I had in my T480s. The move to a 16:10 screen is also a huge plus. I just don't understand why Lenovo always has to tinker with things that were already perfect and, as a result, make it worse. The keyboard and paint are clear examples. Ultimately, the roughish keyboard and the wobbly touchpad are making me return this unit. It's a shame bc if not for these flaws I would have endorsed this machine with five stars for sure.

Thinkpad construction, at a bargain price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typical Thinkpad high quality construction, with amazing battery life. Laptop was purchased for my daughter's start in college, and is our first Ryzen CPU laptop. While I was interested in a 2-in-1 style for the flexibility of use as a laptop and tablet, I was concerned about their durability (hinges), and so we went with a traditional laptop style, in a model with good reliability and portability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The same high quality and elegant design as can be expected from Lenovo, and as with most all laptops, could use a few more ports!
