As stated in my submission, the sensor has never worked. I have inserted new lithium batteries and have placed it well within the 165' limit. I need a replacement!

We apologize that your unit has encountered this issue but we would be happy to assist! Please make sure that you have fresh batteries for both units, then perform the following reset. Please follow the steps carefully as the order is crucial to the success of the reset. Hard Reset: 1. Bring both the sensor and display unit together and remove batteries from the outdoor sensor. Make sure that the Wireless Reception Indicator on the display drops to zero bars to ensure that your display was connected to the correct sensor. NOTE: If your display unit continues to show a strong connection, there is another sensor in your area that your display is connecting to (either a neighbor's or from another of your AcuRite units). 2. Remove the batteries and/or power adapter from the display unit. 3. Reinstall the batteries in the outdoor sensor. 4. Once the batteries are inserted you should see the red LED light blink approx. every 18 seconds on the front of the sensor. The red LED light should NOT stay on continuously. 5. Reinstall batteries and/or power cord into the display unit. 6. Let the units sit within a couple of feet of each other for approximately 5 minutes or until you see a solid sensor signal. For further assistance, please reach out to our support team via live chat or email request.
Out door temperature reads a few degrees high. Indoor temperature reads low. Hard to place the outdoor sensor effectively! Would be nice to have screen light up! Not happy with the product

We apologize that your unit is reading inaccurately but we would be happy to assist! First, please ensure that you are using standard alkaline batteries from a high-quality brand in both units, then perform the following reset. Please follow the steps carefully as the order is crucial to the success of the reset. Hard Reset: 1. Bring both the sensor and display unit together and power down by removing all batteries from each and/or removing the power cord. 2. Reinstall the batteries in the outdoor sensor. 3. Once the batteries are inserted you should see the red LED light blink approx. every 18 seconds on the front of the sensor. The red LED light should NOT stay on continuously. 4. Reinstall batteries and/or power cord into the display unit. 5. Let the units sit within a couple of feet of each other for approximately 5 minutes or until you see a solid sensor signal.
I wanted a thermometer that told me room temp and outside temp. This gives me that, plus humidity and the time. I love the low tech way I can get this. No issues with an internet connection this way.
Gave as gifts to grow the fraternity of weather geeks! Harder to find units that give indoor and outdoor humidity as well as temperature. The only reason I dropped it a star was because the number of batteries required printed on the packaging was inaccurate (I had included batteries with both and in each case they were not enough.).
