I had a Marantz NR1403 for the past 10 years ago. It was great when I bought it for surround sound. I care more about music now so wanted a 2 channel receiver.
The Stereo 70s just blows me away. The dialogue on this 2 channel blows away the NR1403 which a centre speaker. I would have switched long ago had I known it was going to be like this.
Listened to jazz is extraordinary. The instrument separation is outstanding.
I love being able to adjust bass and treble right on the front panel too. Just like the good days when I had an amp.
Extremely easy to set the receiver up as well and includes a 5 year warranty!
Well worth the money.
