Ash burning Solo Yukon

Yukon started up quickly and easily. Once it started it was easy to add large pieces of wood. Burned mostly hardwoods, ash, elm, but some popular mixed in. Minimal smoke and no wood popping. First unit was damaged in shipping, but it was replaced quickly. Looking forward to showing friends how well it works.

we love our yukon

We are in Maine and have been entertaining outdoors. As the evenings cool down we have been using our Yukon every night. It is bigger and generates more heat than the bonfire. The fire is pretty much smokeless. It takes larger pieces of wood that are easier to come by. The only consideration is it takes 2 people to dump the ashes out due to the Yukon's weight. we highly recommend it!

Love the Yukon! We sit Outside and listen to concerts around a great fire, lots of heat and an easy start every time. it looks sleek and is so fun!

Love Love Love it! Had borrowed by son's solo stove several times since buying our motorhome and finally purchased one ourselves. Best additional investment for our camping needs. Quick to start, minimal smoke and very little ash that is easy to dispose of.

Was skeptical when I first researched the unit, but after using it I found that it far exceeds any of my expectations. The minimal smoke created is quite acceptable and directly proportional to the quality of the wood which is used. It does not radiate heat from the side walls but rather from the exposed flames similar to a typical campfire.

Great stove...creates an efficient burning "wind tunnel" that burns hot! Pretty much smokeless as well. Fantastic purchase, I should have bought one sooner.

I truly was leary to believe all of the claims made concerning this type of fire pit, but after usage the pit truly surpassed any of my expectations.
The level of smoke created is directly proportional to the quality of wood being used. With well seasoned hardwoods it truly is a nearly smokeless fire. The ignition of the smoke by the air flow introduced by the upper ring of holes is similar to an air induction system I had used in a wood burning stove I had built.
All of our friends who have traditional fire pits are truly amazed with our Yukon unit.
