I gave my husband the Yukon for Father’s Day. Used it for the first time tonight and not sure what to think. While it’s nice to look at and seemingly more “safe” for little ones running around, we had the same amount of smoke as we would with a normal fire pit. Not sure if it’s user error or what, but so far it’s not living up to the hype.

The Yukon has met all our expectations. The general appearance, build quality, and performance (definitely less smoke) make this a solid purchase. We did have an issue upon arrival of our fire pit; however, it was taken care of immediately by the Seller. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I was with the customer service portion of this transaction. Once our issue was identified, I called in on a Saturday. The office was closed but to my surprise customer service got back to me on that same day. Their goal was to quickly resolve this issue and true to their word, they took care of everything. In this day and age where many Online Sellers treat customers as being disposable and / or make resolution(s) to issue(s) almost impossible, I can honestly say this company met and exceeded our expectations with their service. I would gladly do business with them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Way to go Solo Stove... in my opinion you knocked it out of the park.

I have bought local box store fire pits throughout the years. They always failed. The Yukon is a beast and cannot be beat. The start of the fire is quick and the flames are raging. It looks as good as it works. Great fire pit. It’s going to be a great summer and fall with the Yukon!!!!!

We’ve been wanting a fire feature in our backyard for years. We live in a cool climate though so getting a gas fire pit that also gave off substantial heat was an investment to say the least. My husband loves real fires, but we all agree we hate the smoke. So when I heard about this from a friend, I decided to try it out and my husband was absolutely thrilled. Few things to note. Yes, once it gets going it isn’t very smoky, but there is a little bit of time to get it to that point. So keep your “fire pit” clothes handy. At least while you’re making the fire and getting it going. After the first night, it became apparent we really needed the grate cover, the cover and a few other tools. This turned an expensive fire pit into a really expensive fire pit a little too quickly, but it is fun. We love the heat, we love the ambiance, we love the family time sitting by the fire. Although, given the pit, the accessories (including the new axe and hatchet we also had to buy and the trips to cut firewood), we probably could have invested the same amount into a nice gas fire pit. But my husband loves it and it’s been a lot of fun! Also, we had a slight issue with shipping and their customer service could not be beat!
