I love the smaller version and decided to get the larger one. It burns clean and gets hot. Worth the price

Yukon Great Product

Yukon is a great quality product. Fits our need extremely well. It is big but that's what we wanted for use on our wood deck set on some one inch blocks. We purchased spark screen as we have large cottonwood trees for shade over the deck. Works great with no concern for lighting the trees on fire. With that as a five star rating I would offer some suggestions: 1. Design some type of handle to lift the pit. It's not that heavy but it is difficult to move or carry with nothing to grab except the bottom. Likely more of an issue with the Yukon. 2. Because it is unhandy to move and we have it on a wood deck, I don't want to haul it to dump out ash every time it is needed, and there's no way to clean out the ash tray underneath. I've done a typical "farmer" solution and have a steel pipe that can fit through the air holes of the convex fire floor and it is duck-taped to a fitting that inserts to my shop vac. It is a little tedious inserting into most of the floor holes but I suck out the ash tray using that without having to move or turn the Yukon over. I would love some kind of a trap door to the ash tray so I could insert the shop vac attachment directly.
Overall, we love the Yukon and the quality of the product.

Love IT!

We built our first fire the night we received it. We watched a couple of YouTube videos and then built the fire. Quick to get up to temp and truly was smokeless. Other than a little smoke smell (probably from the lighting) didn't smell like campfire the next morning. Amazing!

Friends, neighbors and family cannot get enough of the fire pit. Even on less than chilly nights, we fire the pit up and bask in its warmth and aura. You won’t be disappointed.

We just used our Yukon for the first time and are in love. It burned so hot and clean - have off lots of heat. We purchased the cover which is really slick to put on and looks great. Highly recommend!

Game changer for our backyard fires!!!

I have had a fire pit in the backyard for years. Smoke was always a big issue. My wife would last about 5 min before she couldn't take in and in the house she went. Even if we used very seasoned wood, there was always too much smoke for her. I've had the Yukon for 3 weeks, and we've had 10 fires and she sits there for hours. It's really unbelievable how much it dissipates the smoke. I usually light the fire, let it heat up for 30-40 minutes (yes there is smoke at this point), but once it's hot, almost zero smoke. I put in some of the greenest wood I could find (into a bed of already super hot coals), and a buddy was blown away that even that didn't even smoke a little. Based on the design, you do lose a little heat towards your feet and lower body, but that is small price to pay for no smoke. I will have more fires this summer, than in the 8 years I've lived in this house combined.

Fits full pieces of split wood!

Several neighbors around us had the bonfire pit and we noticed that wood would often appear out of the fire-pit and create that smoke we were hoping to avoid. We opted for the Yukon and LOVE the size of it. It is large and weighs around 50 lbs but worth it for the space you have around the fire and inside of the pit. Roasting marshmallows is amazing...Brown in less than a minute and never burnt.
