After having had a friend bring over their Bonfire on several occasions we finally broke down and bought our own Yukon. We absolutely love it! It is huge and perfect for our back deck. Looking forward to the many summer nights lit up by the raging fire produced by our Yukon!

It’s a beautiful fire pit! It generates a lot of smoke until the fire gets hot. It’s not really smokeless, but the amount isn’t too objectionable once it gets going.

The best fires

This fire pit is the best! We’ve always enjoyed sitting around a fire in the backyard, but the smoke was unbearable. My entire family is amazed at how little smoke is generated from this pit. It’s now become our favorite activity in the early evenings into the night.

The old saying " you get what you paid for" is true on this Fire Pit. Its a bit pricey but solid and top quality. I placed it on platform I built with roller so I could move it easily around my backyard.

The right choice!

So, you're probably reading this and wondering if you should spend this much on a fire pit or what the right size is, because I was there. I had a deck put on my house and the yard fenced in last fall. I started looking into firepits and was originally thinking about hardscaping one, then I saw this. I hemmed and hawed but the science makes sense and it looks elegant. Let me tell you, I am SO happy with this thing. I MAY have been able to get away with a Bonfire but I didn't want to regret the smaller size and have to deal with returning something so large.
I've used the Yukon twice now. It takes minutes to light (I use fatwood and scrap wood) and gets going quickly. I've read people ask whether it throws off enough heat because it's not, say, cast iron. Well, I'm not using it in 30 degree weather but I can tell you it gets PLENTY hot, maybe mostly because the fire gets going and big but controlled. This is one of my favorite purchases ever!
