Worth it!

Took the plunge and ordered the Yukon online - was shipped and arrived faster than expected in perfect condition. Took about 2 seconds to set up and put in place, 3 minutes to get a fire going. Ever with sub-par conditions (light rain and wind), we just wanted to test the thing out...did great! Lit right up, got some great coals going and the fire was roaring in no time. It's the perfect size for our outdoor gatherings, can't wait to put this thing to more use.

So, I will make this a two part review.
Part 1: This Yukon Solo Stove is BIG !!! I know that this is the size I wanted, since it will be used here at my house as a temporary permanent fire pit. I love the quality and look of the Yukon. 5 star for that part for sure. I really am excited to fire this puppy up, however the weather won’t allow me to do that until tomorrow!! :(
My only negative comment, is that I wish they would’ve incorporated some type of built in handles to be able to grab this thing a little easier. Getting it out of the box was a little harder than it should have been.
I was thinking maybe they could have some type of removable handles that can be stored away, or handles that are formed into the stove itself.
Once I fire it up, I’ll come back and finish/ update my review !!!!

We just finished a large outdoor patio area and this yukon solo stove was the cherry on top. We love it, and the first thing you notice about it is the high quality materials and how well it has held up after many uses.

Yukon Fire Pit

Yukon arrived and it is large. Easy to unpack but a bit cumbersome to move. First concern is that there is no direct access to ash area for cleaning but will update on that when I get there. Put in some small kindling and lit easily with torch. Added some dry pine to really get it going then added some harder wood. Fire started easily and maintained. Made a perfect fire with very little smoke if you follow directions of not adding too much wood over lid. When fire done, Yukon cooled off quickly. Great product and would highly recommend!

Puts out a really nice flame and lights quite easily. Doesn't heat up your legs very well so not great for cold nights. But a very nice summer fire pit.
