Love it so far!

Just got it yesterday, had our first fire last night! Love it so far! Looking forward to many nights spent around the fire making smores and listening to great music while relaxing! Oh and the fire pit is wonderful too! Looking to add all the accessories already! We have the Yukon and I'm so happy we got this size, anything smaller would have been a mistake for us! Thanks Solo Stove!

I've had the stove for 3 days now and have used it twice already. It is the perfect size for my stone fire pit - essentially inserted it in the middle with some room to spare. Assembly was extremely simple. Seems very well built and durable. I'm only giving 4 stars for now as I'm still learning how to build a consistent fire to quickly get it to the proper heat so the physics of the system takes over and elimnates the smoke. But I've already seen a huge difference in the smoke and burn of the wood with no residual pieces left after burning. Once it gets to the appropriate burn/heat it is extremely easy to maintain.

Very nice pit!

We just took delivery of a new Yukon solo pit this past monday for my wife's birthday. The pit was very well packed so arrived in very good shape. This thing is huge!
Our kids have a variety of asthma and allergies, so reduced smoke was the main driver for getting a solo pit. There was some smoke on startup but once there was a bed of coals there is minimal smoke coming off. The pit is large enough to easily hold 8 full size pieces of firewood. I mixed some well seasoned white oak and some that had been out in the rain - all of it burned up completely.
Very nice pit - very happy with my purchase.

This fire pit is amazing. The heat that come from this is impressive. My son was suspicious about how it would work but now has taken it upon himself to start and maintain our fires. He loves this thing as do the rest of my family. This is the best fire pit we’ve ever owned. Thanks

I am not a good firestarter; I would die in the wilderness. And I hate to buy custom fire starter blocks (OK, I'm frugal). When I saw how the Yukon worked I decided to go for it because the airflow design would give my fires a fighting chance. It worked like a charm; no pizza box needed. A little paper from the recycling basket and some yard twigs and my fire was off and running. I am going to have to buy firewood because it's so fun and easy that soon I will exhaust my supply of trees and branches that have been cut down for landscaping purposes, but I plan to have fires all year long with this stove. The Yukon is easy, fun, looks great and gives off nice heat when you get close; and it did not blow smoke around so you don't have to shift seats and it's not annoying to neighbors.
