LOVE OUR YUKON!

Finding ourselves at home now with the Corona Virus Pandemic. Wanted some relaxation. What better way to do this than to watch a mesmerizing fire pit. We shared the fire pit virtually with our son and family. We had the fire pit, they had the guitar and sang. It was awesome.
My husband doesn't like to smell like wood smoke, so gave this SOLO YUKON a try. It only smokes when you start it up and when we put a piece of wet wood on it. So keep your wood pile covered and you're good. A video I watched from a review said if you were looking to get warm from the fire, this is not for you. I disagree. It was only about 40 degrees and we stayed out by the fire for about 90 minutes with sweatshirts on.

Perfect for our backyard oasis

Love our new Yukon! It took only a few minutes to get out of it's packaging and set up. A stylish addition to our backyard oasis and big enough for a large group to gather around. Couldn't be happier with our purchase!

Its a fire breathing beast!

First of all, Solo stoves customer service is fantastic. Upon arrival my yukon had significant dent on it. I emailed them and they immediately offered to send me a new one. I suggested a different means of remediation and they obliged, which i am thankful for. The first day i got it, i decided the give it a go, and to be honest, i was less than impressed. There was substantial smoke and not a lot of flame. The next day i went online to further research the Yukon. Turns out i made the mistake of not providing enough sustenance for the Yukon to properly work its magic. The next day, i lit a proper fire, and once i threw a substantial amount of wood, the Yukon roared to life bellowing smokeless fire and heat! The yukon is a beautiful piece of hardware and emits a beautiful flame. My family and i were very impressed by it and look forward to spending many more evenings around the fire!

Wow, just used my Yukon for the first time and was very impressed! Solid construction and works as advertised. The air flow makes a huge difference from a typical firepit. The wood burns evenly and smoke rises vertically and doesn't cloud around the fire. Highly recommend.

Just what we needed!

We have been eyeing the Yukon for months, and finally decided that since we are all home constantly this would be the perfect time. We were shocked at how quickly it got here! We used it for the first time last night and were thrilled. We are looking forward to many nights of sitting around the fire.

It’s a beast!

I didn’t know what size to get so I decided to get the Yukon. I was worried about the others not being large enough. It is larger than expected, but I know I will love it. I got a peek at it, but it is meant to be a Father’s Day present. I think Father’s Day is coming early. I am anxious to put it to use. It is a gorgeous unit. Great craftsmanship.

Best way to be quarantined!

We purchased this because we heard it produced less smoke and ash. They hold true to their word! This thing is amazing and will help us enjoy family time. COVID19 has stopped us all in our tracks and forced us to slow down. Having nights with no distractions and being in nature is what we need right now. Our solo stove is the perfect addition for our “quarantine backyard makeover.”
