Yukon w/ Heat Deflector

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough about our new Solo Stove. In our 25 years of marriage my wife & I have always enjoyed a fire almost every night the weather permitted, with the exception of extremely hot or inclement weather. About 5 years ago we began keeping medically fragile foster children & eventually adopted 2 of them. At that point, it became nearly impossible for my wife & our kiddos to enjoy time out by the fire due to the smoke & what it does to children who already suffer respiratory issues. However, after seeing someone use a Solo Stove on one of my camping trips, I immediately ordered one as soon as I got home & just like that, we now have our nights outside together by the fire back. This is by far the best money I have ever spent. I simply start the fire & after several minutes, its hot enough to do its "smokeless magic" & my wife & I are back outside under the stars enjoying the night's sky. I went ahead & ordered the Heat Deflector in "hopes that it would work" & am BEYOND SATISFIED & AMAZED!!! If you are going to spend the money on a Solo Stove then DO NOT ROB YOURSELF OF THE ADDED LUXURY OF THE HEAT DEFLECTOR. My wife & I like to ground (bare feet on the bare ground) as much as possible & the Heat Deflector actually warms the surrounding area enough where we are now able to ground on cooler nights, where before, it was just too cold to take shoes socks off, but now after giving it some time to heat the surrounding ground we are able to ground comfortably. In my opinion, the Heat Deflector should be a mandatory purchase with every Solo Stove...how else are you going to really appreciate what a Solo Stove can offer, if you don't try it??? Otherwise, all your heat just goes straight up where it can't be enjoyed.

Arrived dented. I watched the delivery service throw it on my porch so I’m not surprised. Perhaps use a different shipper Solo Stove not FEDEx
