Thought it should automatically come with the height raising ring. Couldn’t see this unit being placed on the ground. Especially, for the price point.

Our Second Solo Stove—Love ‘em!

Gave me my life back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's starting to get cool outside here in New England, and for those who are significantly immunocompromised, it's the end of our social life. I decided to order a Yukon with the pellet adaptor as we already use pellets to heat inside, and I am thrilled! I can now have friends over outside even on these chill Fall days. This has changed my life after so many months of isolation/only Zoom calls.

Amazing gift

He loves bonfires but I don’t because of all of the smoke; campfire smoke seems to blow right in the face of the people who dislike it the most. The Solo Stove is the perfect compromise because it’s a super warm bonfire without all of the dreaded smoke because the smoke is directed up and away from the fire. We now enjoy a fire as often as possible.

Love our Yukon!!

We had heard about Solo and seen commercials but it wasn’t until we visited friends in upstate NY that had a smaller version that sold us!
We live in a very remote area and love to have fires in the cool evenings.
Being remote we are always aware of fire embers and with Yukon there is very few poppers that come out (this also depends on the type of wood you burn)
Hubby was amazed at how little ash was in the bottom after first use. All of the wood burned no left over chunks!
We also purchased a hard cover to keep the rain out as well as a weather cover (soft cover)
