Best Fire Even On A Windy Night!

We set up our Yukon Solo Stove on the deck only 20 feet from the bay in Ocean Pines, MD. Not only did the firepit withstand the gusts of wind, it didn't get smoky. We were warm and so happy with our first experience using it! Can't wait to use it some more.

Amazing Fire Pit, Amazing Customer Service

We recently bought the Yukon and every accessory available and I have to say...it's all worth every penny. It looks great, burns hot and clean, and has been put through some serious paces since we got it in early January. I'm talking below freezing temperatures and keeping 4-6 people warm around it. And this thing EATS! I've been ripping through wood, but that's the fun of it! Five stars for the fire pit and all of the accessories.
Now for the customer service...mine came dented through careless handling during shipping. I emailed customer service and they offered to send me a new one or get a pretty generous refund. The Yukon is too beautiful to sit on my patio with dents, so I asked to have a new one sent. No problem, customer service said use the current one until the new one arrives...and we definitely have. Everyone that sees it wants one! My cousins just bought one for my uncle as a birthday gift because he was so impressed with it. I'm sending the lid as a gift because it's an awesome accessory. Unfortunately, when you send an item to someone else, the website doesn't let you add a gift note. I called and spoke with Grant from customer service. What a nice guy...he helped me write the note and is adding it to the box before it is shipped! Just an awesome experience both times I contacted customer service!!! Great products, great people, great company!

Too much styrofoam in box

Our Yukon was packed with a ton of styrofoam. The big pieces break into tiny pellets and spread everywhere. They can't be recycled and are a real pain to clean up. I'm surprised an outdoorsy company would ship something from China with the least environmentally friendly packaging possible.

We’ve only used twice. We’ve had a lot of smoke both times but I’m 99% sure this is user error as we are still new to solo stove and I’m pretty sure we aren’t adding enough wood. We’ll continue to try but it does eat a lot of wood. Be prepared or size down!

Purchased the Yukon in late November and received the shipment in early January; just in time to make cold winter evenings warm and enjoyable. Our friends in California and Colorado have followed suit and purchased Solo fire pits. We love to low maintenance and ease of cleaning after a warm night around the camp fire. Enjoy...
